PLYWOOD BOX

Often underestimated and yet it is one of the most frequently used types of outer packaging worldwide. Thanks to the multi-layer glued panels in this type of crate, it meets all the parameters of international standards for the transportation of goods. In addition to its high stability, it is also lightweight compared to other types of packaging.

A wide variety of closure systems facilitate the processing of the crate itself and the packaging of the individual products. Whether steel profile with slots and the corresponding pressed-in tongues that only need to be bent over for closing, plastic clips, quick-release fasteners or metal clips, LEVL will find the right solution for you. A protective coating increases resistance to external influences.

When folded, plywood crates are very space-saving in the warehouse and during transportation. The different areas of application therefore also require different versions of our plywood crates. In addition to the normal requirements of the export business for plywood crates, LEVL also offers its customers the option of certifying the containers for the transportation of hazardous goods and thus producing individually adapted hazardous goods packaging.

Advantages of plywood boxes:

  • Easy to handle
  • High productivity thanks to intuitive assembly and disassembly
  • Meets international export standards (phytosanitary regulations)
  • Possibility of certification for hazardous goods
  • Increased work safety thanks to the integrated locking system

Versions:

TYPE I

The TYPE I from LEVL consists of a coherent unit. The lid, frame and base are joined together to save time when handling and assembling the loading unit.

TYPE II

A TYPE II unit from LEVL consists of three parts. The foldable frame is placed on the floor and connected and the lid is complemented with the previously formed system. The separation of the individual components saves storage space and transportation costs.

TYPE III

Type III from LEVL consists of 6 elements. Base + 4 side parts (frame) + lid. This is particularly advantageous for larger packages, as each individual side can be fastened separately and thus also has the option of loading from the front. This means that nothing stands in the way of easier loading and unloading.

TYPE IV

The largest crate in LEVL’s plywood crate family is the TYPE IV. Like the TYPE III, the crate consists of 6 parts, but these are without pressed-in stell profiles and tongues. Instead, these crate types are held together with clips, which does not detract from thier stability. This type of crate is particularly suitable for very large packaged goods and is therefore much more efficient when processed with clips.

Details

Each type of crate is available in many different standard formats. However, customized formats are also not out of the norm and can be adapted to your requirements at any time if necessary.
